Bites and Stings
By: Lorissa Violet

Bug bites and stings are common, but there are several simple remedies and supportive options that may help soothe the skin and support faster healing. A quick home remedy that many people use is baking soda, which can be applied to the affected area to help calm irritation. For topical support on bug or spider bites, products such as Immune Harmony Oil, Active Skin Repair, drawing salve, and Black Walnut Supreme are often used to help soothe the skin and support the body’s natural healing process.
For more systemic support to encourage faster healing after bites or stings, some people turn to herbal supplements such as Schisandra Supreme and Cir Q Tonic by VerVita. In situations where additional support may be needed, such as concerns related to tick exposure, certain herbs are commonly used as supportive options. For example, Japanese Knotweed Supreme, Shilajit, and apricot seeds are sometimes included in protocols aimed at supporting the body in cases related to Lyme concerns. Specifically for tick bites, supplements such as Klenz+, Japanese Knotweed Supreme Nutrition, and Astragalus Supreme are often recommended for additional support.
For mosquito bites, some of the same supportive herbs can be helpful both for soothing irritation and as part of a preventative routine. Products like Cir Q Tonic by VerVita and Schisandra Supreme Nutrition are commonly used to support the body’s response to bites while helping calm the skin.
