I originally launched the podcast as The Lorissa Violet Podcast with a clear intention: to bring women real conversations with experts—grounded, practical, and immediately applicable to everyday life at home. It was never about surface-level inspiration; it was about tangible advice, actionable systems.

I brought on Alex Payetta to expand the conversation beyond my own lens. We approach life, motherhood, and decision-making from very different angles, which was exactly the point: to give women access to multiple viewpoints while still being rooted in growth, discipline, and a shared commitment to becoming better for our families and ourselves.

Now rebranded as Above Average—the name I had always envisioned from the beginning, the podcast reflects that evolution. It’s a sharper, more dynamic space where two perspectives come together with one goal: to challenge, refine, and elevate the way we live
